Actions A brunette catches the camera in the last stages of pulling her shirt on overhead (1). A second poser dries her hair with a towel (2). Commentary These two underwear shots, mixed into the resort theme of swimwear, bikinis, and resort clothes, show just how alike the silhouette of bikinis and underwear can be. Both of these silhouettes are pure bikini. The lines of the first portray an early 1960s waist and legline--note the deep side, whereas the lines of the second culotte combine the very low waistline and narrower side of the 1970s. In the latter example the waistline has pretty much reached the limit of maximum descent, but the side has not yet narrowed to the sidestrap or (God forbid) the string.
