Studio and beach 1927 CB2720 Costume White with black trim fish pattern skirted maillot. Cape. Heels. Purse. Valise, newspaper. TL. Cleavage. Armpits. Actions Bow poses in a studio set, in these pictures she wears cape, a belt on the maillot, and short heels (1 with indicia and 2 without). And without the cape (3). She changes her shoes and sits (4 with indicia and 5 without), then displays her armpits (6). Bow frequently models the same swimsuit over a series of shoots, perhaps because it is a signature piece from a current movie. In what looks to be an exterior, she sits on a dock pier, opens a case, and powers her cheek (7 with Ross Verlang mark and 8 without). She reads the paper (9) and stretches (10, 11). Back in a studio she poses the swimsuit again, only this time holding a jacket, hat and purse and wearing sandals, but conspicuously absent a belt (12, 13, 14). Aside from the skirt, the maillot fully reveals her figure. Commentary The "fish maillot," as this is sometimes labeled, is a skirted maillot, but also one which is thin and décolletage. It is worn with a without a belt. The different shoes and locations suggest some different days of shooting.
