A European Type Demonstrates Tanga in New York

Jacob Riis Park, New York
June 1988 RP8801

Costume
Sleeveless pullover top and tanga. Black and white bandeau and tanga.

MLA. TMLA. N-2. Nippage. Hairage. Underarm hair.

Actions
This subject's attitude suggests a casual attitude toward that suggest she might be a European, visiting her from afar. The sleeveless croptop casually displays nipple peaks through the armhole of the floppy croptop when she sits (1), down her neckline when she leans over, and when she wipes her brow with her shirt her breasts are revealed completely. When she adjusts her towel one can observe she is equally bare on her backside (2, 3). She casts herself onto her stomach, reaches behind, and pulls her top off overhead, again exposing her breasts and then reclines into a position resting on her elbows (4).
She sits up, now holding a bandeau across her breasts while she fastens it behind her. She turns and talks to her male companion (5, 6), and then continues to sit spread legged (7). Pubic hair is conspicuously visible to the sides of her bikini briefs (8). She reclines onto her back, but continues to keep her legs apart (9, 10).
Restless, she stands (11) and walks to the ocean, wetting her feet in the surf before returning to sit on her towel (12, 13). Once she sits we can also observe her copious underarm hair, another suggestion of her European style (14). She rolls over onto her side, her knees drawn toward her chin, her rump up, and smokes a cigarette (15). This is a much more important position for tanga than for bikini. Once again, her flowing hairage is visible.

Commentary
Tanga is scarce at Riis Park this year, and possibly this "European" is leading fashion. The only other tangas spotted at Riis Park today are two beachwalkers (RP8803), although one bikiniite does end up with her briefs tucked into rugage (RP8802). For the history of tanga wildlife, consult the Bikini Science Times (1990-1995).
