Faux beach, America le. 1908 PC0880 Costume White bathing dress shortsleeve. Shoes. If hose then they are white or flesh colored. L (probably and certainly by implication). Actions A young lass sits on a piling and gets her feet wet. She holds her hands behind her head in a surrender position (1). Commentary White is a color in the opposite direction than many of the bathing dresses of the period, which re dark or colored. But it is not unique. What is special is the bare legs.
