Commentary Dating this image is a challenge, because the physical postcard suggests the date above, whereas the style of the swimsuits is strictly retro. But post-war Florida is not a French pinup, so the Bikini Scientist is cautioned that there is a big difference between a leading trend and a mature silhouette.
