Actions
   The first Miss America strikes a pose with her toes, bare knee-caps and all, and smiles (1). Spectators are gathered behind her.
   Miss Gorman of Washington, D.C., stands 5'1" tall, measures 30-25-32, and has recently turned 16 years old. Here original title is "Miss washington," but before the pageant repeats for its second year she will become "Miss America."
