Pier, probably Hollywood, California 1917 MP1750 Costume Shoulder strapped maillot pantaloon. Hair scarf. Shoes and socks. TL. Cleavage décolletage. Actions Prevost stands on top of a piling and leans over, showing her cleavage (1). Commentary Like most of Mack Sennett's Bathing Beauties Marie Prevost dons one the eras more compact swimsuits. This barely qualifies as a pantaloon and has a very high legline. The top of the swimsuit is reduced to narrow shoulder straps, and the scoop front enables cleavage. The only thing conservative about this costume are the socks and strappy shoes. This is a bit sassy to wear out for real, and will put ideas in people's heads!
